After three years of dry autumn and winters, water levels have continued to decline in the central region (Hertfordshire, west Essex and parts of Bedfordshire, Surrey and North London).
If below average rainfall continues over the coming months, wholesalers in the area will consider introducing restrictions on water use, such as hosepipe bans, in spring 2020. You can find out more information on the Affinity Water website.
