On 17th August, Wave was delighted to be awarded Silver in the Learning and Development Awards Category of the 2023 International Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards, held in Florida. Our winning entry detailed our approach to learning in our Hybrid Workforce and was submitted in partnership with our learning platform provider, Absorb.
Up against 30 other participants including global organisations, our winning submission was centred around one primary goal; the safety, happiness, and well-being of our employees during and after the pandemic. It proved how we were able to provide excellent training, resources and results by using the capabilities of Absorb LMS and the support of the Absorb team to enable employees to access learning resources and watch video content on a range of wellbeing topics with their families. It also allows the L&D Team within Wave to create bespoke content and have more control over the content they produce.

Working with Absorb LMS has allowed us to transform our learning platform and effectively measure engagement with our courses”.
The Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards recognise organisations for their learning and talent capabilities and is the gold standard of awards, referred to as the “Academy Awards of Human Capital Management.” Hosted in the USA, the awards attract entrants from leading multi-national corporations, as well as mid-market and smaller firms.
