Ever since Wave started working with print and mailing house, Ciconi, in 2021, we've been supporting the incredible work the air ambulance does within the regions we're based. With offices in Durham and Peterborough, this year we've chosen to make our charitable donation of £2,994.05 from Ciconi Mail® to the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA).
Making a difference to the communities in which our customers and employees live forms part of Wave’s Social and Sustainability Promise, so we're proud to be able to contribute to such a worthy cause. Corporate donations to EAAA go towards helping to save the lives of seriously injured and ill people across East Anglia through 24/7 expert critical care, recovery support and teaching life-saving skills, like CPR, to people in the community.
Phill Fothergill, Head of SME Customers said, "Mailing still forms such a key part of the service we provide, and although we're committed to reducing the amount of paper we use by supporting customers with online services, we've had over one million communications sent out through Ciconi this year. That's why we love having a charitable donation scheme like this one. It aligns with our social and sustainability goals and allows us to do good and give back in other ways."
