How to submit a Subject Access Request

The UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) Article 15 gives individuals the right to access the personal data that an organisation holds about them, subject to certain exemptions. This is known as a Subject Access Request (SAR). You can request access to the data we hold about you, either verbally or in writing. This is a free service.

Before we process your request, we’ll need some information from you so we can verify your identity and make sure you have the right to the information. This essential security measure is in place so your information is protected and will never be disclosed by us to any person who doesn’t have the legal right to receive it.

Although you can request access to your data both verbally and in writing, we recommend completing our online form as it’s designed to speed up the process. Please include as much information as possible and any time periods involved as this can help us handle your request quickly and efficiently.

Once we have received your request and confirmed your identity, you should expect to receive a response to your request within one month. Occasionally, where a request is complex, we may extend this to a further two months. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated within the month deadline.
